OFFICE MANAGER
The job of an Office Manager is multidimensional support to agency in the provision of services as described by the mission statement. He/She is multifaceted but the key responsibility is to facilitate staff members to operate effectively and efficiently. The primary duties include organizing and coordinating office procedures, operations, and resources to make organizational efficiency and effectiveness. The office manager directly supervises the clerical staff and assigns tasks among them. The duties and responsibilities of an office manager differ according to the organization.
FIELD NURSE / REGISTERED NURSE
Field Nurse/Registered Nurse will provide nursing services to patients at home. RN’s assess patient’s home environments and instruct patients and their families. They must be able to work independently and may supervise CAN’s in home settings. Field Nurses/Registered Nurses travel to patient’s homes, hospitals, assisted independent living facilities and other sites. Nurses may spend considerable time walking and standing. Assess patients and associated needs, develops POC for each patient.
PCA / CNA
To provide care in a home or facility setting. The Certified Nurse’s Aid (CAN) is a paraprofessional member of the health care team who would work directly under the supervision and direction of the agency Registered Nurse (RN) and provides various services for the client. The majority of which would be personal care and activities of daily living which involve minimal and/or extensive assistance to a client who may be totally dependent in an activity or requires substantial hands on care and physical support including more that guided maneuvering of limbs or weight bearing assistance.
